AML/KYC Policy

1. General Provisions

This AML/KYC Policy applies to the website binaryhub.site, its partners, affiliates, and clients (collectively, the “Company”). The purpose of this Policy is to prevent the use of the Company's services for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other unlawful financial activity.

All employees and representatives of the Company are required to adhere to the principles of this Policy in the course of their professional activities.

2. Definitions and Purpose

Money laundering refers to the process of concealing or disguising the illegal origin of funds to make them appear legitimate. It typically involves three stages:

  • Placement — introducing cash into the financial system.
  • Layering — transferring funds through various accounts and financial institutions to obscure the source.
  • Integration — reintroducing funds into the economy through investments, purchases, or business ventures.

Terrorist financing may involve both illegally and legally obtained funds, but typically includes the concealment of the source or intended use of the money to fund criminal activity.

3. Client Obligations

The client agrees to:

  • Comply with national and international laws aimed at combating money laundering and terrorist financing;
  • Refrain from using the Company's services to carry out illegal financial transactions;
  • Confirm that all funds used for transactions through the Company are of lawful origin and in the client’s legal possession.

4. Suspicious Activity and Company Actions

If suspicious transactions are detected, such as:

  • Deposits made using stolen cards;
  • Unjustified chargebacks or refunds;
  • Suspected fraudulent activity;

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Suspend operations;
  • Freeze the client’s account;
  • Cancel any payments;
  • Conduct an internal investigation and request supporting documentation.

5. Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedures

The Company reserves the right to request client identity verification at any time. Verification documents may include:

  • Copies of a passport, driver’s license, or other government-issued ID;
  • Utility bills or bank statements to verify the address;
  • A photo of the client holding their ID document next to their face (in special cases).

Failure to comply with verification requirements may result in restricted access to the Company’s services.

6. Voluntary Verification

Clients may voluntarily submit identity documents for verification. However, verification becomes mandatory when using bank transfers for deposits or withdrawals.

7. Updating Registration Data

Clients are obligated to promptly update their registration details, including full name, address, and contact information.

To change the registered phone number, the client must:

  • Provide a document confirming ownership of the new number (e.g., a mobile service contract);
  • Submit a photo of an identity document held next to the client’s face. Personal data in both documents must match.

8. Document Verification

Clients are responsible for the authenticity of their documents (and their copies) and agree that the Company may contact the issuing authorities to verify their validity.

9. Company Obligations

  • All Company departments must comply with this AML/KYC Policy in accordance with local legislation;
  • All documentation must be stored for the minimum retention period required by law;
  • All employees must complete initial and annual AML/KYC training. Additional training may be required when necessary.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

The Company reserves the right to refuse the execution of any transaction that contradicts this AML/KYC Policy. Such refusals do not result in any civil or other liability of the Company toward the client.

This Policy may be updated without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing the current version published on the official website.
